2016 Chevrolet SS Sedan Video Review

The Chevrolet SS Sedan is based off of Australia's Holden Commodore. General Motors owns Holden and the Commodore has been known for decades as one of the baddest sedans you own. It's really a shame the SS Sedan isn't more popular. Perhaps GM isn't pushing the car since the Holden plant where the car is made will be closing in 2017. This will likely mean the discontinuance of this car, but Chevrolet has declined to comment on that just yet. Enthusiast say the SS is a direct competitor to the BMW 5 Series which costs several thousands more.

The 2016 Chevrolet SS Sedan starts $46,575 MSRP.

6.2 Litre V8 Engine producing 415 horsepower at 5,900 rpm and 415 lbs-ft of torque. This engine is from the 6th generation Corvette. Available with a 6 Speed manual transmission or a 6 speed automatic with paddle shifters. All this helps push to car from 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, which isn't bad for a 4,000lbs plus 4 door full size sedan. It does have magnetic ride control which adjust to road conditions 1,000x a second optimizing handling. The EPA MPG is 14city/22hwy. The SS comes with a nice sounding exhaust from the factory. You'll get to hear some exhaust clips in the video below.
